Spreading damp lime

 Early model CU56i shown spreading stockpiled lime. The knobby ATV tire makes a debris-free press wheel with great contact and traction.

Press wheel with walking beam suspension.

 The press wheel on all CU Series spreaders drops between both tires on the walking beam suspension for contact with both tires.

This provides the power to break loose a load of lime.

The Redhawk Spreader series

 The Redhawk Series, available in;
  • the 4 ton CU 40i
  • the 5 ton CU 50i
  • and the 8 ton CU 80i

"Walking Beam" suspension, ground drive, hydraulic spinners. No PTO shaft. The all "CorTen" copper-nickel alloy hopper will never rust through.

Deflectors for controlled spreading

 Special deflectors for Orchard or Vineyard work:
  • optional banding deflectors at the sides to narrow the spread width
  • optional center deflector at rear to block spreading to the back
  • STANDARD hinged center divider over chain to spread to only one side.

Details of the Low Rate Kit for fertilizer

Low Rate Kit for fertilizer:
  • notched rear pan edge to prevent "surging" with each slat
  • "paddle wheel" drive shaft to catch and smooth the flow
  • "Low/Low" speed sprockets

Hinged center divider for one-sided spreading

Our own "Hinged Center Divider" which allows spreading to only one side. Great for doing the outside round on a field.
